Formula 1 qualifying for the Spanish GP on another hot day in Barcelona

As on Friday, the track is likely to be above 40°C when the starting grid is set at the Catalan circuit

After debuting with the first two free practices on Friday, Formula 1 returns to the track at the Circuit de Catalunya, in Barcelona, for this Saturday (21) and the definition of the starting grid for the Spanish GP. Another hot day is expected.

The situation will be very similar to the one found on Friday afternoon. Qualifying is scheduled for 4pm local time [11am GMT-3]. The air temperature is expected to be 28°C with open skies, with only a few clouds. The thermal sensation is 29°C, which practically guarantees that the temperature on the asphalt will be above 40°C.

The relative humidity will be lower than yesterday, only 36%, while the wind strength will average 22 km/h and gust up to 24 km/h. There is no chance of rain for the Formula 1 activity. All information is weather service Accuweather.
