Formula 1 has a sunny day and reasonable chances of rain for the Austrian GP

The time period for which the Austrian GP is scheduled this Sunday (10) will have sunshine between clouds and at least a 20% chance of rain

The Formula 1 Austrian GP weekend saw threats of rain on the horizon since days ago, but water ended up being out of the question during the first two days. Now, this Sunday (10), there is a possibility that rain will break the calm sun between clouds on Friday and Saturday.

The information is from the Accuweather weather service. The race is scheduled for 3 pm local time in Spielberg [10 am GMT-3]. At the moment, the sun is expected to appear quite a bit between the clouds, just like on Saturday.

The forecast indicates a temperature of 21°C and a wind chill of 23°C. These are the conditions expected for the hour and a half duration of the Formula 1 race. In addition, winds maintain an average of 15 to 17 km/h (15 to 17 mph) and gusts of up to 19 km/h (12 mph), so there will not be much change from what happens during the rest of the weather. The relative humidity is 43%.

The chances of rain are at 20%, or one in five. It doesn't sound like much, but it was numbers like these that turned into rain on Saturday of the British GP last week.

It is Max Verstappen who starts in pole-position for the Austrian GP after winning yesterday's sprint race. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz appear in second and third place.
