Formula One has had a few days of high temperatures and plenty of heat in 2022, but nothing like what lies ahead in free practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix

The first day of track activities for the Formula 1 Hungarian GP on Friday (29) will have the highest temperatures of the year so far for the championship. At the same time, it still deals with the expectation of rain for some time in the afternoon in the city of Magyoród, metropolitan area of Budapest, where the Hungaroring circuit is located.
The cars start accelerating at 2 pm local time [9 am GMT-3]. By the time the Formula 1 cars take to the track, the expected temperature is 32°C (90°F), with the temperature feeling reaching 35°C (95°F), and the sun reigning between a few clouds in the sky.
The information is from the Accuweather weather service. The chance of rain reaches 43% and increases up to 47% over the hour, while the temperature also rises a little, to 33°C, but not the feeling. The relative humidity stays at 19%, while winds average 9km/h and gust up to 19 km/h.

Over the next two hours, rain and even thunder are expected until 5pm [12pm GMT-3], when the sky is expected to be cloudy and there is a 38% chance of rain again, with a drop to 32% by the end of the hour.
The temperature, however, remains similar for Formula 1: 34°C and a wind chill of 33°C, which drops respectively to 33°C and 31°C during the hour. The air humidity is at 28% and winds at 13 km/h and gusts up to 15 km/h.
