Mattia Binotto says Ferrari will be hoping for a dry track at the British GP after Carlos Sainz secured his first pole position.
There is no rain forecast for Sunday's race, and the rainy weekend so far will leave teams in the dark about strategy, Binotto says.
"We expect it to be dry tomorrow. I think it will be a guess between one or two stops, something the teams will decide by looking at the tires after a few laps."
"We haven't done many laps in the dry or with plenty of fuel. I believe we will have different strategies on the track and that will be great."
The biggest concern for Ferrari fans ahead of the weekend is whether their cars will receive the checkered flag after a string of reliability problems.
"Every race is different. We have new components and we hope not to face any problems this weekend, but you never know when it comes to reliability." admitted Binotto.
"I think it's a concern for us, maybe for the others as well. Certainly, it is an important element for the result, but we are focused on the race without thinking about it, at least this weekend, and I hope they will cross the finish line in the right positions."
