There was great disappointment at Ferrari in Monaco last weekend. The Italians started the race on Sunday from the first two positions, but in the end were unable to stop Sergio Perez from taking the victory. Inaki Rueda, however, remains optimistic for the coming months.

The team had an excellent start to the season, but now seems to be lagging behind. Although Ferrari proved in Monaco during free practice and qualifying that it was much faster than the competition in fast lapping, Red Bull Racing again made a stronger impression in the race.

For Rueda, however, this is no reason to despair just yet. The Italian team's head of race strategy states in the Ferrari debrief that he thinks it is important to find out where things went wrong and learn from it for the rest of the season in order to have a great championship battle with Red Bull.

"We left with a bittersweet taste in our mouths. We did some very good things, we did some other things that we are not so proud of," said Rueda, who remains confident. "We guarantee that we will come back stronger from this experience."
