He set a time of 1min08s584, beating Antonio Felix da Costa. However, he was penalized for battery change and will start at the end of the grid, leaving the Portuguese in front with Alexander Sims beside him.
Among the Brazilians, the best was Sérgio Sette Câmara, fourth. Lucas di Grassi will start 19th.
