In the end, the Charouz driver held off Théo Pourchaire, the championship's second-place finisher, to claim the top-3 spot.

"I knew that this race would be the moment to attack and take risks. I tried to be as cautious as possible, but I attacked when necessary. I'm very happy with today's result, it shows the amazing work the team is doing, and I'm very grateful. Thank you all," concluded Fittipaldi.

The result represents Fittipaldi's second podium in the current season of the Formula 1 access category. The driver, who is doing his first full season in F2, obtained a second place in Ímola. More than that, it is the seventh time in eight races that Enzo has reached the points zone.

This afternoon's result puts Fittipaldi in fifth place in the championship, with 56 points. It is the first time this year that the Charouz driver reaches this position in the points table.

The main race, Feature Race, takes place on Sunday (3) at 6:05 a.m. with live broadcasting on BandSports.
