Keeping up an incredible sequence of results, Enzo Fittipaldi earned more points in the 2022 Formula 2 season. This Sunday (12), the Charouz driver finished the second race of the Azerbaijan stage, held in the circuit built on the streets of Baku, in the sixth position, after starting from the 16th position.
The Brazilian, who scored points in six of the last seven races of the year, was combative throughout the 29 laps of the race, especially in restarts, when he gained important positions. Fittipaldi guaranteed another top-10 finish, his seventh of the season.
"It was a great result. We started from 16th place and overtook ten cars. We didn't get the best setup during the weekend, but we were able to maximize our performance in the main race to score very important points in the championship," said Enzo.
Sunday's result leaves Enzo Fittipaldi in seventh place in the championship, with 51 points after six rounds.
The next round of Formula 2 is scheduled for June 30-July 2, at Silverstone, England.
