Lucas Di Grassi had a very positive Saturday (2) in Formula E. The Venturi driver made a recovery race in the Marrakesh ePrix, tenth stage of the 2022 season, after starting in 10th place. With great pace and great overtaking, the Brazilian was one of the highlights of the race. After overtaking the reigning world champion, Nyck de Vries, Di Grassi crossed the finish line in fifth.

With great pace and great overtaking, the Brazilian was one of the highlights of the race. After overtaking the current world champion, Nyck de Vries, Di Grassi crossed the finish line in fifth.
Lucas also closed the race in Morocco with the best lap of the race, thus crowning another outstanding performance by the Formula E world champion.
Championship - With the top-5 finish in Marrakesh, Di Grassi scored 13 points in the championship and has this season one podium (in Diriyah), four top-5 and seven finishes in the points zone in ten races. Lucas is now in eighth position, with 66 points.
The victory in the Marrakesh eP was Edoardo Mortara's, followed by Portugal's António Félix da Costa and Mitch Evans from New Zealand. Da Costa's teammate Jean-Éric Vergne was fourth, 0.822 seconds ahead of Di Grassi. Mortara also leads the standings, with 128 points.
Formula E will pick up speed again in two weeks with a double round on the streets of New York (USA), on July 16 and 17.
