Former Formula 1 driver Christian Danner has no sympathy for Nico Rosberg and his refusal to get vaccinated against covid.

Although the 2016 world champion has recovered from the disease, he cannot enter the F1 paddock this season due to the category's mandatory vaccine policy.

Danner told the one he has no sympathy for.

"So he needs to stay at home. That's the way it is. When you travel around the world, there are regulations that must be adhered to and they also apply to Nico."

A spokesman for Rosberg stated that he did not even attempt to enter the paddock in Monaco, but F1 seems determined to keep him out.

It is believed that Rosberg applied for a vaccine waiver, but F1 rejected it because only medical reasons are sufficient.
