Commissioners' investigation does not worry Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton has expressed his opinion regarding an incident in qualifying for the Azerbaijan GP that is being investigated by the commissioners.

It was confirmed during Q2 that Hamilton would be investigated after the session for allegedly going unnecessarily slow.

The Briton was seeking a vacuum, with the McLarens of Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo behind him, but the two would not pass him. Hamilton and Norris had to explain themselves to the stewards.

Later, when asked if he was worried about this, Hamilton gave his opinion about what happened.

"I don't really have any concerns," Hamilton told the . "First of all, I was off the track, and you need to stay within a time delta. I was inside, I didn't stay under my time."

"So within that time delta, I should be able to ride at whatever speed I want, and I was off the track, I didn't get in anybody's way.

"However, I was trying to get a vacuum because we were very slow on the straights. And the drivers coming behind didn't want to pass, so I just went ahead and did my lap."
