Carlos Sainz Jr. made very good use of the new Ferrari engine. Besides leading the Speed Trap, the Spaniard was also the author of the best lap of the French GP on Sunday (24). The Ferrari driver set a lap of 1min35s781 on the 51st lap of the race.

Already 1s710 slower, Max Verstappen did the second best lap, ahead of George Russell, Lewis Hamilton, Sergio Pérez, Valtteri Bottas, Charles Leclerc, Fernando Alonso, Esteban Ocon, and Pierre Gasly.

Lando Norris recorded 1min39s037 and 3s256 slower than Sainz, was 11th on the list of best laps. Sebastian Vettel is next, escorted by Mick Schumacher, Daniel Ricciardo, Lance Stroll, Alex Albon, Kevin Magnussen, Guanyu Zhou, and Nicholas Latifi. Yuki Tsunoda, who abandoned early in the race, was last on the list.
