As has been the custom in the last stages, Band jumped to second place in the Brazilian TV audience while Formula 1 was on the air

Formula 1 has guaranteed stable audience figures for Band over the last few races, within a European leg that keeps the schedules always similar from race to race. This Sunday (24th), during the French GP, the network from São Paulo reached again the second place in the audience while the race in Paul Ricard was on air.
The information is from the website Teleguiado, a partner of GRANDE PRÊMIO. According to the previous measurement for the Greater São Paulo market, considered the main one for the Brazilian advertising market, the French GP had an average of 3.9 points in the broadcast TV audience. It was enough to put Band in the second place.

The race started at 10:03 am and finished at 11:36 am. During this period, only Globo had an average higher than 3.9: it had 7.3 points. SBT got 3.2, while Record was far behind with 2.2.
The peak moment of the audience was at 11:25, near the end, when it reached 4.5 points. At that minute, Globo had 6.6: that was when the difference was smaller. Before the start, it was at 5 points. Max Verstappen won the race, while his great rival in the fight for the title, Charles Leclerc, crashed just as he was leading.
Formula 1 returns next weekend, July 29-31, at the Hungaroring, with the Hungarian Grand Prix, which closes the first part of the championship.
